I don't know if there's any form. But I'm sure that a woman's first birthday after giving birth should be pretty special. To my discredit, I didn't make an otherworldy effort. But we went out for dinner and it was lovely. We sat and talked for a while about all sorts of stuff. Mainly weddings, and families. And there was the odd bit about babies and how you should bring them up. But the best bit was when Tara ordered more dim sum (prawn and chive) for dessert. Now there's a woman who knows her own mind.
