I just don't know what to say. I have blogger's block. I've been looking out for interesting things to share, but you don't want to see photos of my new compost heap, or the fog in the morning, or 'the art'. Haven't got much to say about work either, even though I do work in an interesting place and sometimes do interesting things.
So here's what we'll do. You ask some questions. I will then answer them all. All of them. I won't cop out and I won't ignore any. I will answer them all.
I reckon that should get me back on track.

'Kay, here's a question:
What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?

Hmmm, interesting question. I don't think anyone's ever given me a really good bit of advice. Maybe it could have been the person who told me not to join the army. That's probably the one.

...although I did read somewhere quite recently that you should always aim to be the dumbest person in the room. Always ask the dumb question that everyone else is thinking but is too afraid to ask, in case they don't look cool or smart anymore. I like to try to be the dumbest person in the room.

I've got a few:
1. What does the world need more of?
2. what does the world need less of?
3. who was your favorite Muppet and why?

I totally agree with asking dumb questions. I firmly believe in learning from blind stupidity. I think it's useful. I think Steve Jobs once said 'stay foolish'.
Ok then, deep breath, do you think agencies sometime struggle with the idea of hiring outside help (freelancers) as they can feel that it compromises their teams 'completeness' and damages the egos of said teams? Can there be a future for the freelance Creative?
Or is my question naive and foolish?
Or are there other reasons for not hiring freelancers?
Curious freelancer...

Dan, you once gave me a good bit of advice. It was that pep talk about watching out for my wife after our baby arrived. That was very useful indeed and I've given other friends the same pep talk. I owe (part) of my marriage to you. Thanks Uncle Dan.

Is there anything you envy about Raymond?
Is there anything you think he envies when it comes to you?

If you could have taken one feature of London out to the countryside with you, what would it have been?

- what were your nicknames at school?
- if you could have a 'last movie' - like a last dinner on death row - what would it be?
- what's your favourite kind of pie? (this can include dessert pies)
- do you ever think you'll regret writing this post?

James 1:19. Sometimes having little to say is a fine quality for a man.

What was the pep talk you gave adam? Though I don't suppose it will be as affective if I'm the one giving it to my husband.
But while we're on the subject...
What's been the most surprising thing for you about parenthood?

What have you personally got out of blogging?
What has Innocent got out of blogging?
And, does this planet need any more blogs?
