creative review - interview

Gordon Comstock recently interviewed me for Creative Review (September 2009 edition). I like Gordon (not his real name, but then you knew that) - his blog is as funny as it gets, and he's a good man to have a cup of tea with.

I swore a little bit in the interview, which I now regret, but it wasn't really bad swearing, so that's OK.

screwed up

You wait your whole life to get noticed, to have your face projected onto a big screen in front of lots of people.

And then what happens?

Your face goes weird. Frozen forever in time.

It wasn't even a difficult question.

an interview with me at influx

There is an interview with me at Influx. I like Influx - it was one of the first blogs I started reading, so being on their site feels like a great honour. Which it is, of course.

meeting mr colman

Paul came over to interview me this morning for a podcast that you can download over at his place (or here). It was a good experience - we just sat and nattered for an hour. Whether or not anyone will glean anything vital from it is another matter.

It's a funny thing, meeting people who you sort of know from the world of blogs but have never actually met before. Paul was pretty much as expected - funny, courteous and very smart. I regret that I didn't check to see if he was wearing red socks, but I'm sure he was. He did have a corduroy jacket on, which he assured me is "the planner's pinstripe". And he pulled a typically stern face for the photo. To be expected.

Oh, and he told me that the things that annoys him about this blog is the lack of a 'recent comments' bit in the sidebar. So we'll get that fixed pronto, if someone can quickly tell me how to do it...

I'm going to be in a podcast. Paul is coming over to interview me next Thursday (30th). I shall try to be interesting.
